Yes, I've a very little interest in going to the Frolunda match against the NYR. I can always go to their match as long as I don't move out of NY When in Europe, go to European games (much more interesting)!
The MODO match, I was heavily leaning towards. But I was hoping that I could catch a training session too. I played hockey up to college (not D-1 though) and I was always curious how practices are conducted overseas. And I must admit, I love the Swedish style. I just thought that maybe during preseason, SEL teams have more lenient rules on public going to trainings as some NHL teams are (sadly, all NYR trainings are closed to public. Though due to connection, I was able to attend a few).
But I've realized that the match against MODO is season opener. Are the tickets difficult to get? And I assume tickets haven't gone sale to public yet?
Thank you again
Not sure when the tickets to the season opener will be released but I guess it will happen a bit into August. You definitely need to book a ticket before in any case, as previously poster mentioned it's a risk (or rather chance) it will be sold out.
Check back on the page, or rather send a mail to info@difhockey.se and if you're lucky someone might answer, despite it being in the middle of the vacation period.
Thank you so much for the responses guys. I didn't think I will get this much information in just one day.
I will send out few emails to the organization as directed, regarding open trainings and ticket. Although I'm coming to Stockholm alone since none of my friends (who I'll be travelling with) are hockey fans, I am already amazed by the hospitality that has been displayed here already.
I will likely go to the match againt MODO and I will try to buy the ticket early. I alreay can't wait since SEL game has been #1 on my priority sporting events list. And can't wait till watching some top prospects on Djugarden play too.

A little preview of what you may see:
Haha, just dont EXPECT to see that, you might end up disappointed. But I'll be an awesome opening fixture Modo I can promise you that! Just promise us that you wont call your organization in New York Rangers and tell them about our Jimmie Ölvestad...
Haha, I think Jimmie Ölvestad will be safe. But if Djurgarden can give us a LW prospect who can score 30+ goals to play with Gabs and B-Rich, I'll be very happy Every year we can't score and it really hurts all the NYR fans to see that Henk has to carry the team.
And wow, the atmopshere certainly looks different in SEL. Usually MSG has more of a professional tone to it since many corporate people go. I heard that Centre Bell and ACC are really intense though.
