English Djurgarden question

Hi,

Sorry to post on this forum in English (delete it if I've broken board policies) but I follow the Detroit Red Wings and wanted to find out what Djurgarden fans thought of Christofer Lofberg. How good is he? What role did he play last year? What role do you think he'll play this year?

I'd also be interested in hearing anything you might be able to offer on Nils Backstrom (J20 team) and new signings Dick Axelsson and Daniel Larsson. Thanks if you can help.

Thanks for answering. I've actually seen their stats and was curious what people who watch the team every day think, particularly on Lofberg and young Backstrom. Just looking for opinions.

Bäckström has just turned 20 and will not be able to play in the junior league any more. Since he's not part of Djurgården's plans for next season (didn't even get a tryout contract) I have no idea where he will be playing. I would give him about 10% chance of succeeding in the NHL at the moment.

Chrisofer Löfberg is more promising and even if he spent most of his time last year in the 4th line you could see that he has great potential. He's a powerful forward that skates and shoots well (a Johan Franzén type of player) and I think that he will play a bigger role in the team next season. Hopefully he can help filling the empty goal-scoring space left by Patrick Thoresen. 15 points (10 goals) is what i expect/hope for Löfberg to put up this winter.
