hi there, i got some questions for your #14 daniel rudslätt. i´m from cologne (germany) and a fan from the team cologne sharks.
last week there was an article in the newspaper, that said rudslätt has signed a contract with the sharks for next season.

1st: do you know anything about this?

2nd: what kind of player is rudslätt? i´m sorry to say that i don´t know, `cause i can´t speak any swedish and one is not able to get too many informations about swedish hockey in germany... that´s a sad thing, because i would always prefer swedish, tzech, slowakian, russian, or even ... finish  hockey in front of any north american hockey...

some answers would be nice from you...

so long, daniel.

This is a chock for me because here in Sweden we haven't heard anything about him going to Germany, I really hope it's not true...

He's a technical player with good sense of goalscoring and I think he's one of our fastest players too (except from Jimmie Ölvestad). I think he's one of our five best players right now.

Yes he is a really fast and good player.....I hope he is going to stay..
I think he is Djurgårdens most important player after F. Bremberg right now..........

i´m sorry to say. our team-manager was in sweden and visited the game djurgarden vs. mora, that´s fact! the rumor with rudlätt accrued within an article of the "bild-zeitung" newspaper. on the one hand it´s a yellow-press-paper, but on the other one has to say they got right with their names in the last two years. the team-manager and the jounalist seem to know each other very well...

Well Build Zeitung is not the most reliable newspaper out there but Rudslätt's contract is due oiut after the season so he is free to go anywhere.

He is also getting a bit old and might be interested in making some extra cash before he stops playing.

His main assests if you ask me is his speed and his abiltity to skate all the time. He is a passable scorer not more but still a useful player to have in a squad. Personally speaking I would prefer to see him stay but there i sno way we can match wages from Europe....

Hi there from Cologne again

I will write an article for our fan magazine www.haimspiel.de and would like to have some more informations about Rudslätt from you.
As I see from your previous posts he seems to be a fast and skilled player. Therefore I guess he's not the hardest checker or plays with much grit, is that right?
What's his position in the team, cabin-wise - if anyone of you knows that? Is he some sort of leader or rather not?
What's his overall style of play, are there any players he can be compared to which anyone in Germany knows? What's his attitude towards hockey, what type of guy is he on the ice?
And also off the ice, what is he like, are there any special off-ice-activities he did? How's his relationship to you fans, is he more the shy or the outgoing guy?
Really every piece of information is very much appreciated.

Are there any newspaper articles about him online - in english? Or if anyone of you has fun in translating some swedish ones, that would be awesome :o

Thanks in advance
Robert
